The space:
My townhouse is bright and cheerful, the downstairs living area is open, and great for watching movies, playing games, and cooking a family meal together. The upstairs hall bath offers a tub/shower and the toilet behind a door, so those are separate from the double sinks and cabinets in that space. This provides additional privacy and flexibility for the guests using the two front bedrooms.

Tips and Tricks to get the very best Havelock vacation property experience:
When to visit Beaufort & When to reserve a rental home:
- In the Havelock area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked early. Booking your rental property up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Havelock area. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property managers usually offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Havelock area travel guides which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Havelock visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- Choose your vacation dates and budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Delightful 3 BR\/2.5 bath townhouse with amenities has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible online. If not, email or call the property manager before booking your rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a rental that allows animals. Ask for information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
- Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
Know before you go:
- Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of problems.
- Lock your rental home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
- Make a record of any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be useful if there is a dispute.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an excellent source for finding the best local scenic spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental a final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
- Did you have a wonderful time? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
