Indian Beach is conveniently located between Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach so you will have access to alluring beaches (just a short walk from your door), a variety of stores and eateries in Emerald Isle, the North Carolina Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores, the historic Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier, and the Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area offering self-guided trails and wildlife viewing on 265 acres. Nearby Morehead City has all the “bigger city” amenities and daily fishing excursions, while Beaufort (the third oldest city in North Carolina) is a handsome historic town with fun shopping, marvelous dining, and scheduled boat excursions to the barrier islands.
