Indian Beach is conveniently located between Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach so you will have access to pretty beaches (just a short walk from your door), a variety of stores and eateries in Emerald Isle, the North Carolina Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores, the historic Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier, and the Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area offering self-guided trails and wildlife viewing on 265 acres. Nearby Morehead City has all the “bigger city” amenities and daily fishing excursions, while Beaufort (the third oldest city in North Carolina) is a gorgeous historic town with fun shopping, striking dining, and scheduled boat excursions to the barrier islands.

Inside this serene, two-bedroom vacation rental, discover a well-equipped, full kitchen, a dining table for mealtimes or rainy day games, and a living area with comfortable seating and a TV for evening movie nights. When to book & When to go:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in Indian Beach. To get the best rental home within your budget, we suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Havelock restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it.
