How to find the best Atlantic Beach rental experience:

Getting the best value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Havelock area. To get the best value, consider changing your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer great weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
  • In the Havelock area, The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Havelock area travel guide magazines that include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Begin by choosing the best vacation week and a budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. 3 Minute walk to the ocean, Overlooks the pool!!! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Havelock vacation rental search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking websites. Otherwise, email or call the property management company before reserving the home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You will need to work out what configuration is optimal for your family.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental
  • If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to search for a property that allows animals. Get information on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.

Advice for your stay:

  • Add the host's contact information to your phone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Make a record of any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are very helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to propel new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
