DESCRIPTION:
Sunnyside Up is the ideal island hideaway. This dog-friendly (max 2) home awaits you and the whole family (kids in fursuits included). There is a $150 per dog per week non-returnable fee charged in addition to the rental amount.
Here in this cheerful bungalow, you will find your Sunnyside is always UP!
On the ground level of this cheerfully decorated home are 2 true king master suites with private baths. The enormous great room with generous seating is open to the dining area and well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen offers new appliances and all items needed to prepare the meals for a week’s stay. A hall off the dining area leads to a guest room with a queen over queen bunk bed on the left and full bath on the right. As part of the Spinnaker’s Fresh Bed Promise all linens are laundered between guests, even the comforters.
At the end of the hall is the ample screened porch with a dining area overlooking the private pool. The paved pool deck offers a dining area and tons of room for calming in the sun.
On the 2nd level of the home is the rec-room with a full size pool table, a card table, a seating area with Queen sleeper couch and flat screen TV. A full bath is located off a hall area separating the rec-room from the comfortable den with a daybed and trundle.
The beach access and community pool are located at the corner of Shipwreck Lane and Louise Howard Court. This would be roughly a 10-15 min. walk from Sunnyside Up or an even faster golf cart ride! There is parking for the cart at the beach access.

Tips and Tricks to get the best rental experience:
When to go & When to reserve a rental home:
- Summer months are high season in Emerald Isle. Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some hosts offer promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
- Booking websites usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Often, rental management companies supply Havelock area visitors guide magazines that include special offers, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Havelock area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Choosing and booking your Havelock rental home:
- Begin by choosing your a vacation week and a spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Pet Friendly, Oceanside Interior Home Private Pool, Golf Cart, and Easy Access. has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is usually accessible online. If they are not listed, reach out to the property manager before you book the home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out what configuration is right for your family.
- If there's a certain Havelock beach you long to visit, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental
- If your group is traveling with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
More tips for your visit:
- Get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your .
- Document any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, stereo or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of difficulties.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your life at home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would back home.
- Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great feedback to inspire new bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
