Welcome to Summer Breeze, Emerald Isle! Summer Breeze is a private triplex home, featuring THREE separate living spaces, each with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a living room, dining area and full kitchen! This listing is for SUMMER BREEZE WEST, an upper-level unit with 3 BR and 2 BA, sleeping 7 total. See the bottom of this listing for all rental configurations available.

New to the rental market in 2022, Summer Breeze is located directly across from a beach walkway - you'll be on the soft sand in moments! Come home for lunch and snacks - don't worry about sand in the sandwiches! And there are gorgeous vistas of the crystal ocean from the roomy upper decks (East and West units). The slightly more petite lower unit on the East side, which we affectionately call "The Bungalow," offers ocean peeks, a shady patio and NO STAIRS to contend with!

All rooms - living areas AND bedrooms - in Summer Breeze have a view toward the ocean, and the decks will provide plenty of relaxation as the sun goes down! Kitchens are completely supplied with all of the essential items (pots, pans, dishes, silverware, flatware, serving dishes, appliances) you'll need to whip up a great meal! Summer Breeze also offers high-speed Spectrum internet and TV (1 enormous intelligent TV per unit).

A max. of 2 cars per units is allowed, so Summer Breeze West will have parking for 2 cars total, no exceptions.

Summer Breeze East (2830223) is an upper-level unit offering 3 BR / 2 BA, sleeping 7 people.
Summer Breeze West (2756822) is an upper-level unit offering 3 BR / 2 BA, sleeping 7 people.
The Bungalow at Summer Breeze (2821655) is a slightly more petite option with 3 BR / 2 BA, sleeping 6 people. This is a ground-level property with no steps to climb.
Summer Breeze East & The Bungalow (2756755) is a combination of the upper East unit plus the ground-level Bungalow. This offers a total of 6 BR / 4 BA (sleeping 13), and is a great option for bigger families traveling with elderly parents.
Summer Breeze, whole home (2535770) includes all three units, East, West and The Bungalow. This option offers a total of 9 BR / 6 BA, sleeping 20 people.

About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this vacation home is next to a golf course and on the waterfront. Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area and Croatan National Forest reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Isle Adventures. The Sweet Spot and Emerald Forest Golf are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

How to find the best Emerald Isle vacation rental experience:

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in the Havelock area. To get the best value, try shifting your family's Havelock vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local Havelock visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitors guides have deals for nearby tours and attractions.

  • If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly rental. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Often, property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a particular Havelock beach you are enamored with, look for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .

Tips for a great stay:

  • Put the owner's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few problems.
  • Lock your rental while you are away. Protect your property!
  • Document any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a great resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great stay? Many rental managers make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
