Down the hallway, the kitchen is on your left, and the living room is straight ahead. From the living room, walk out onto the private ocean view balcony, and take in the waves and maybe catch a dolphin or two playing in the surf! The last bedroom on this floor is the Master. It's oceanfront with balcony access, has a King size bed, and an en-suite full bath with a delightfully tiled stand up shower.
Upstairs: At the top of the stairs, there is a coffee bar for the upstairs guests to savor, a designated peaceful workplace area with a desk, and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Booking the best vacation rental experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- Reserve your rental in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
- Property management companies typically offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
- Look for your local Havelock visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines have coupons for local accommodations and attractions.
Filter your rental search:
- Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and choose a budget.
- Determine how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Pi in the Sky - Oceanfront, top floor, glorious views! has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Havelock rentals search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available on booking websites. Otherwise, email or call the host before you reserve your home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You'll need to work out what bed configuration is optimal for your group.
- If there's a particular Havelock beach you are crazy about, search for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
Some things to know before you go:
- We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Record any damages to the property during check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if there is a dispute.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many difficulties.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all of your things. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a excellent time? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
