Duplex connects through inner door. 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 2 dining rooms, 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. Parking for 6 cars! Beach chairs, beach towel, beach wagon & umbrella supplied. Amazing location so you never have to drive. Grocery store, putt putt golf, water park, movies - all a short walk down the road. Linens and towels are included.

Dogs allowed, $400 pet fee per stay. No dogs on beds - put dog couch covers on couch. Dog hair on furnishings or beds incurs an additional fee from cleaning company and will be charged to guest. Amount TBD depending on extent.

About the Area

This vacation home is located in Emerald Isle. Emerald Forest Golf and Salty Pirate Water Park are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. Traveling with kids? Consider Emerald Isle Adventures, or check out an event or a game at Big Rock Stadium. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Money saving strategies:

  • In the Havelock area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Emerald Isle. Reserve your Havelock rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses.   • Inspect the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
