The Intracoastal Waterway lies behind the facility, providing access to grilles, picnic tables, and a gazebo for calming or cooking your catch of the day. There's also a dock area available for fishing. The handsome sandy beach is just across the street and is less than a three-min. walk from this unit. To top it all off, Bogue Shores features one of the biggest and cleanest pools on the island, along with a cute infant pool. Be sure to visit the local waterparks, the NC Aquarium, Fort Macon State Park, as well as the local surf stores and gift stores. A grocery store is about five mins. away, along with many superb seafood and steak eateries that the locals rave about. If you're eager to discover more, you can book a boat tour to visit some of the islands for a few hours or savor a dinner cruise.
