Walking distance to eateries and stores and just a few blocks from the pier. Free, private oceanfront parking. Washer/dryer, Intelligent TVs for streaming, wireless Internet access. No dishwasher supplied. Covered and open deck with porch furnishings including porch swing. Entirely shaded front yard; kids's playset in backyard. Three-nighttime minimum. No smoking.   • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the best value, shift your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.   • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection.   • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
