- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Pine Knoll Shores. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes.
- In the Havelock area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property managers usually offer renters an option to add trip insurance.
