Tips and Tricks to get the best Havelock vacation property experience:

When to go & When to reserve a Atlantic Beach rental home:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Atlantic Beach. To get the best value, shift your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • In the Havelock area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Look for your local Havelock area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines have money saving offers on nearby shops and restaurants.

Planning and choosing your prefectrental:

  • Select your vacation dates and budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. \"Make Waves\" at Atlantic Beach, Renovated 3 Bed, 2.5 Bath Condo has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is almost always available on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before you reserve your rental. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what bed configuration is right for your trip.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or charges applied to your invoice.

Advice for a fantastic stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your smartphone.
  • To make sure that no damages are attributed to your family's stay, inspect the property for any problem areas upon your arrival. Make contact with the property manager immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few problems.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on great reviews to inspire more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
