This oceanfront condo is located on the second floor, where it features all the amenities of home. Appreciate plenty of seating in the living room as you tune in for your favorite shows on the flatscreen cable TV. Step outside, have a seat on the balcony, and relax in the fresh ocean air. - Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To find the best value, try shifting your family's Havelock vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property management companies offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
- Booking websites often offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. - Walk through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible).
