Savor the unspoiled beauty of pristine beaches while still being close to shopping, dining, boating and fishing activities, and a multitude of other area attractions. Unwind at the oceanside pool, where you can lounge in the sun or in the shade of the covered deck or gazebo, or walk down the walkway leading to the beautiful, white-sand beach.


Bogue Shore Club 208 is a second-floor, oceanfront condo with simple elevator access and great vistas from the direct-oceanfront balcony. Conveniences include three TVs, complimentary WiFi throughout the condo, a completely equipped kitchen, a private washer/dryer, and access to the community's outdoor pool.

When to reserve a Havelock rental home & When to go:

  • Summer time is high season in the Havelock area. To find the largest rental home within budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Havelock restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.

  • If there's a specific Havelock beach you long to visit, search for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property management company about pets before booking.

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Respect the neighborhood. Often, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
