A Place At The Beach offers broad amenities and one of the best family getaways imaginable - there's practically no reason to ever leave the resort grounds!


Can’t you just see the excitement on your kids’s faces as they approach the outdoor swimming pool and water slide or the nine-hole putt-putt golf course? Don't forget about the hot tub, the shuffleboard, the tennis and basketball courts, the game room, and the gas grilles. There's even an indoor pool should the rain ever decide to move in. Ready to hit the beach? You can follow the walkway to the striking, white sand of the Crystal Coast and ride the waves, soak up the sun, or collect seashells.


This second-floor condo provides all the conveniences of home, including a roomy living room with plenty of seating where you can savor your favorite cable TV shows or watch DVDs. Open the sliding glass door, step outside onto the balcony overlooking the courtyard, and relax in fresh ocean air or watch the sunrise with your morning coffee. You'll also find a completely equipped kitchen with all the necessary major and modest appliances, a dining table with seating for four, and additional seating at the kitchen counter.


The bedrooms include a primary suite with a TV, private balcony access, and a private full bathroom. Additional amenities include complimentary WiFi and a laundry room with a full-size, high-efficiency washer/dryer located in the entryway.

Located in Atlantic Beach, this condo is near the beach. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and North Carolina Maritime Museum are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Coral Bay Shopping Center and Morehead Plaza Shopping Center. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Sticking to your budget:

  • In the Havelock area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Havelock area. Booking your Havelock vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • Some owners offer discounts for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Upon check-in, note any damages to the property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to stimulate new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review.
