• In the Havelock area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
• June, July, and August are high season in the Havelock area. Booking your Havelock vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
• Some owners offer discounts for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
• Property managers often offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
