About this Property

  • Sleeps 6
  • 2 Bedrooms
  • 1 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home

The clean whites and grays of the condo interior mimic the colors of a sea gull. The furnishings is comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed for both the foodie who loves to prepare and the guest who is heating up leftovers from one of the many local eateries, most of which are within 1/2 of a mile. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a couch bed in the living room, so the unit can sleep 6. There is a full bathroom with a shower in the primary bedroom, and the full bath off of the living room has a tub/shower enclosure.

The beach is literally just steps away. Step out on the balcony, walk down the stairs, go to the end of Money Island Drive (150ft), turn west (right) go another 50' on Glenn Street, and the state beach access is right there. The beach is wide and inviting, with white sand and teal water that evokes scenes from the Caribbean.

Units A and B (upstairs and downstairs respectively) share a ground floor charcoal grille and an open outdoor shower for rinsing off sand.

How to get the best Atlantic Beach rental home experience:

Finding your best deal:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Havelock area. To get the best rental for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Havelock visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines have coupons for local accommodations and attractions.

Choosing the perfect rental in the Havelock area:

  • Start by choosing your vacation dates and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. A Walk on the Beach Unit A gets your toes in sand within 200 ft. Ocean view! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible online. If they are not listed, email or call the property owner before reserving your rental. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is right for your family.
  • If there's a certain Havelock destination you love, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you must reserve a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

Advice for a terrific stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Add a note with the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • Upon arrival, note any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
