Established in the early 1700s, Beaufort ranks as North Carolina's fourth-oldest city and once held the title of 'America's Coolest Modest Town'. What it may lack in size, Beaufort more than makes up for in the culture and heritage of the city. The streets are bustling with vibrant local stores, eateries, and historical sites. From town, you can catch the Island Ferry Express, which offers water transit services to the surrounding islands and coastal communities. You'll be just six miles from the lush greens of The Beaufort Club.
