About the Area
Located in Atlantic Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Triple S Marina and Anchorage Marina. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and North Carolina Maritime Museum are also worth visiting. Scuba diving, snorkeling, and water skiing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding nearby.

- Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
- Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a terrific stay? Many rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
