Just read the reviews for this beautiful five bedroom, five and one-half baths with broad sound vistas. Our goal is to make this vacation one to remember and the reviews reflect it!
The 4th floor has a additional room as well as king bedroom and bath. The vistas are magnificant! The 3rd floor has 3 bedrooms (king, queen, twin) and 3 baths and some have vistas of the sound. The 2nd floor has a living room, dining room and kitchen with counter seating. There is a porch and deck off this space for bird watching and looking at spectacular sunsets! The king bedroom offers sounds vistas and a sizable bath. There is a half bath on this floor. The first floor has a two car garage with a Nema 14-50 for charging electric cars. There is also an elevator.
There are many reasons you may be content to stay inside but you also have great options to get outside and appreciate everything Cottages at Bay Ridge in Atlantic Beach has to offer. The boardwalk (roughly one-third mile and right next to our home) which leads to a covered gazebo on our private island on the sound. Fishing, crabbing, paddle boarding, or picnicking are all possibilities while appreciating the outdoor beauty. You are in walking distance to shopping, pool, eateries, bars and grocery store. We are accommodating and try to respond quickly if you have any questions.

About the Area

Located in Atlantic Beach, this vacation home is by the sea. Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Anchorage Marina and Country Club of the Crystal Coast. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Big Rock Stadium or Cougar Stadium. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Finding the best value:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To get the largest rental home within budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Havelock restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to propel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
