The 3 bedrooms offer a king bed, full bed and two twin. In the sunroom, there is a pullout couch with a queen sleeper for those additional guests that you just could not leave behind.
Outside, a wooden deck provides a ideal spot for enjoying sunsets over the water, with a sandy beach just a short walk away. Set you deck chair so you can view the ocean on one side of the home and the Intercoastal Sound on the other. The salt air will take all your worries away.

How to find the best Havelock rental experience:
Find your perfect rental home:
- Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Reserve your rental home in Fall or Spring to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Some property managers offer rate reductions for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Property managers frequently offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Havelock visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines contain discounts for local tours, shops, and attractions.
Planning and choosing the rightrental:
- Select your vacation dates and budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Just a Fluke - Ocean cottage 2nd row has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available on booking pages. If not, call the property owner before you reserve the property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly property. Request specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
- Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Additional considerations:
- Be sure you get the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would back home.
- To make certain damages aren't linked to your visit, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. Contact the property manager immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your life at home. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have not otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to propel future bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
