We rent to family groups, married couples, or mature adults over the age of 25. We do not, under any circumstances, rent to groups for proms, graduations, college home events, etc. Misrepresentation will result in immediate eviction without refund.

** TWO OPTIONS FOR DAMAGE PROTECTION **
1. Damage Protection Insurance – For an additional $79.00, this plan covers up to $3,000 in unintentional damages to the rental unit that may occur during your stay. Report the damage to us, we’ll take care of the rest!
2. Security Deposit - $750 is immediately charged at time of booking. If the property is left undamaged, keys & parking passes returned, your security deposit will be refunded within 45 days after check out.

About the Area

Located in Pine Knoll Shores, this condo is on the beach. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Beach Wheels Bike Rental and Coral Bay Shopping Center. Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Isle Adventures are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to reserve a Havelock rental & When to go:

  • In the Havelock area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • To find the most suitable rental within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Havelock attractions.
  • Hosts sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Havelock visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guides contain discounts for local tours and attractions.

Selecting and booking the bestrental:

  • To start, have your group decide on dates and a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. MULTI-LEVEL, OCEANFRONT - ENJOY BEACON'S REACH AMENITIES has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Havelock vacation rental search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property manager before booking the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine what configuration is best for your vacation.
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or might be applied to your contract.
  • If there's a certain Havelock destination you are crazy about, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.

More considerations:

  • Add the owner's phone number to your phone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of problems.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • At Check-in, document any issues with the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your peaceful home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
