Each side has 3 sizable flat-screen TVs with Spectrum TV cable and high-speed internet.
In addition to being just steps from the surf, Sea Star features million-dollar vistas from both deck-levels. You will savor hours of relaxation on the broad decks below, and some upstairs bedrooms offer sliding glass doors with a deck, tall viewing chairs and unmatched vistas of the shining sands and crystal water. Sip a glass of wine from the upper deck as the sun sets, then create a masterpiece in the kitchen - with newly-caught local seafood, of course!

How to book the best rental home experience:
How to get the best rental value:
- The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- Summer time is high season in Emerald Isle. To book the largest rental for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Booking websites typically offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Many management companies supply Havelock area visitors guide magazines that include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Havelock area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Planning and choosing your prefectrental:
- Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and choose a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. OCEANFRONT 4 BR\/2 BA 1\/2 duplex with stunning views! has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Havelock vacation rental search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property management company before booking your rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the host about pet restrictions before booking.
- Is your family looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.
More tips for your stay:
- Get the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect your property!
- During check-in, note any issues with the property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, take photos of the property to record its condition.
- Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to drive new bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
