Inside, the feel is fresh and bright, cool and modern, with neutral colors throughout. The kitchen is a modern masterpiece, with a countertop bar and a table for four for hanging out over pancakes and coffee or any meal you choose. The living space is generously sized, with comfortable seating and space to move around and mingle. There are three bedrooms, each with a private bath and balcony on each floor. The primary bedroom is a modern delight with glamorous high ceilings, tongue and groove detail and other touches, like a workspace, a walk-in tiled shower, and a queen-sized bed. There are additional rooms with queen beds and bunk beds, too! There is plenty of room for all your friends, family, and even additional guests!

Hang out on the veranda and sip beverages to watch the sun dip down over the horizon and wave to the kids in the pool! Our top Vacation rental home tips and tricks:

When to book & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To find the best vacation home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Havelock restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Havelock area visitors guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Finding the best rental:

  • Select a group leader, select your vacation dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your group requires. Seas the Day in Atlantic Beach, NC has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible on booking websites. If not, call the property management company before booking the home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what is optimal for your vacation group.
  • If there's a specific Havelock attraction you love, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask your host about pets before booking.

Know before you go:

  • Add the property manager's contact info to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • To make certain damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, make note of any problem areas upon your arrival. text the host immediately to document any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of concerns.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let crooks ruin your holiday.
  • When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on great ratings to stimulate more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
