Oceanside Cottage is the ideal soundfront getaway for some rest and relaxation. This is a comfortable 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home in Beaufort. This home offers a private boat slip, impressive sunrise and sunset vistas, and painless access to places such as Shackleford Banks, Taylors Creek, Carrot Island, Wild Horses, Sand Dollar Island, and Cape Lookout!

Total linens includes Bedrooom #1 with a Queen bed + Twin Bed and Bedroom #2 with a Queen bed. A Queen Sleeper Couch is supplied in the living area - please note that linens will not be included for the sleeper couch.

Additional amenities include wireless internet access, a Intelligent TV with streaming available via Hulu and Roku, a private dock and pier, and a pretty deck from which to take in the beachy air! You'll also have the added convenience of a boat slip on this waterfront property that is included with the price of your rental!

How to get the best rental value:

  • The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked very early. Reserving your rental property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Summer time is high season in the Havelock area. To get the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Havelock attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Havelock vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Look for your local Havelock visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
