From the enlarged ocean view deck, you will greet the morning in the company of the mighty Atlantic. Appreciate your morning coffee, as Dolphins meander past. Seabirds soar, waves crash, and the sea breeze replenishes your spirit, releasing you from the World whence you came. You are sitting front row, on one of the most fantastic wonders on our Planet. This is beachfront visiting, North Carolina style. After a day on the beach, appreciate showering alfresco in the outdoor shower, located just beneath the bungalow. The shower is entirely enclosed with a dressing area, and hot water. During the spring and summer seasons, this is THE place to shower! There is a dividing wall between the East and West sides for your privacy. A gate is also in place so that your pet is secure on the deck. For those who need a little shade, the deck provides ample covering. The Master Bedroom has a queen bed with private bath, the second bedroom has two full beds, and the third bedroom has 2 twins. There is wireless internet, 4 flat screen TVs with streaming (guest's personal streaming service required)! Your well behaved furry family member is also welcome (Two, 30 lb dogs, max). Please tell us all about your special companions when inquiring about the home. If you want a break from the beach, there are plenty of activities to savor. Biking, kayaking, boat units, boat tours, fishing piers, surf fishing, mini golf, shopping, great family eateries, the NC Aquarium, Fort Macon State Park, and Beaufort, the home of Blackbeard the Pirate, are all close by, and wonderfully friendly. Your family will really cherish the memories of your visit to the handsome Crystal Coast of North Carolina, and this is the ideal base camp for your adventures. Units are by the week, from Saturday to Saturday. There is NO SMOKING in-doors!

Our top Emerald Isle rental home booking tips and tricks:

How to get the best value:

  • The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Reserving your rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • To get the most suitable rental home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Havelock restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Havelock area travel guides which often include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and choose the best Havelock rental home:

  • Start by having your group agree to dates and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Stunning Ocean Front Views-Pet Friendly-Clean! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property manager before booking the home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to work out what configuration is suitable for your vacation.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or costs may be applied to your agreement.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .

More considerations:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Record any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a terrific vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
