Our top Beaufort vacation rental home tips:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • The earlier you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Summer months are high season in Beaufort. Booking in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties.
  • Some owners offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Many property management companies supply Havelock area travel guide magazines that include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and choose a perfect Havelock rental:

  • Begin by selecting potential vacation weeks and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. White Ibis Retreat - New Rental! Pet Friendly 2 bedroom has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the host before booking your home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or charges might be applied to your agreement.
  • If there's an individual Havelock destination you crave, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .

More considerations for your visit:

  • Add the property manager's contact info to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas upon your arrival. Speak to the rental manager immediately to relay your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Upon check-out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a great stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
