(1) Guests must pay in full when booking through Vacation Rental By Owner. The card supplied at the time of booking will be charged for the total. Guest will receive follow up communications including Management Company’s Vacation Rental Agreement for e-signature which is required for all stays.
(2) Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are stringently prohibited unless approved by management.

When to book & When to go:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To find the best value, shift your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. - In the Havelock area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
- Property management companies typically offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. - Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a excellent vacation? Many rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear about it.
