When to book & When to go:

  • Summer is high season in the Havelock area. Booking in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some owners offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses.   • Walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition.
