The Mulberry Street Cottage is our newest unit, and is five blocks from the downtown Beaufort waterfront. This two bedroom/two bathroom, completely refreshed bungalow, rivals our "Bungalow" (property #1257580), "Carriage House" (property #339427), and "Hideaway"(property #3777505ha).

The Mulberry Street Cottage has a handsome open living room with a flat screen TV. The master bedroom has a king bed, huge flat screen TV, and full bath. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and connects to the second full bathroom. Substantial, updated kitchen with stainless farmhouse sink, quartz countertops and bar.

Spend time in the sunroom, outside on the enormous back deck, or on the front porch on the rocking chairs. There is a Weber grille for your use on the back deck.

Bikes are available for your use.

About the Area

Located in Beaufort, this cottage is in the city center and on the waterfront. Beaufort Historic Site and Core Creek Bridge are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Rachel Carson Reserve and Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail. North Carolina Maritime Museum and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting.

• Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
• Did your family have a wonderful stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
